Canadian Hospital Finds Ace in the Hole with Charity Poker

The Ante Up for Charity Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament will hit the jackpot at Hooley's Restaurant on September 28th. Held in partnership with the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, the tourney is expected to sell out and raise at least $13,000 for the cancer unit of The Ottawa Hospital. Organizers anticipate that the Elgin Street restaurant will play host to 150 players between 7 pm and midnight.

Every dollar raised goes to the Michele Karen Chung Equipment Fund to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and support a better quality of life for patients of The Ottawa Hospital's cancer unit.
